“Lysvæld” er en vase med graalteknik i gult transparent glas med hvidt overfang. Graal teknikken er en svensk teknik hvor man ved at gravere lag af farve væk fra et lille glas-æg danner billeder, som forstørres idet man blæser glas-emnet op i sin færdige form.
Motivet af ansigter og en hvilende skikkelse er udsprunget af min læsning af teksten “Claros del bosque” af María Zambrano (1977).

“Trenzas”

“Trenzas” er en vase blæst med graalteknik, inspirerret af novellen af samme navn af chilenske forfatter, Maria Luisa Bombal. Værket er en hyldest tili alle former for femininitet, og til de kræfter, som ligger og ulmer i skovbunden.
“Trenzas” er den første graal jeg lavede med min nye (gamle) Spatzier graverer maskine.

“Trenzas is a vase with graaltechnique, inspiired by the novel of chilean wriiter Maria Luisa Bombal. The work is an ode to the powers of all types of femininity, and a salute to the forces of the forest floor.
“DET” (“IT”)

Series of eight Graal vases inspired by a specifik fragment or fragments of the work ‘DET (IT)’ (1969) by the danish poet Inger Christensen.
In the poems, words are used as bricks, as pieces of matter from which not only the poem but entire worlds arises. More than being the matter of construction to the author or the reader, it appears to be the matter to constructing the realm of reality, as well as that of dreams.
In this work, I researched the shared abilities of the two materials, glass and words, through the Graal technique, which makes it possible to create images in the glass vessels.

The glassforest graal

“The glassforest graal” is one of the first graal I made, during the school in Sweden. The vase shows on the one side a dear eating leaves from bushes and trees, and on the other a couple, leaning into or towards each other.
The green vase with white overlay is themed around the adolescent experiences of shattering realities and leaving the naivity of childhood behind.
