Bio
Laura Sonne Lund is a danish artist working with glass as her primary material. Since her technical training as a glassblower at the National School of Glass in Sweden in 2014-2016, Laura has been gathering experience working in production as well as teaching, while developing her own practice as a glass artist. In 2021 she received the GlassWorks scholarship from Bildwerk Frauenau (DE) including the chance of an internship with Kuncglass (CZ) and to follow some of the courses for the graduates at the Royal Danish Academy at Bornholm (DK), all of which led her to start producing sculptural and nonfunctional work. Laura has been exhibiting in numerous places since then, and is currently on display at the Danish Craft & Design Association’s Biennale for Craft and Design at GLAS – the museum of Glassart (DK).
